How This Started

My father founded this company in 1989 with a simple idea: show up and do the work right. He wasn't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest. He just believed that when someone trusted you with their roof, you didn't treat it like another Tuesday afternoon. You treated it like it was your family's roof.

I was finishing up at FSU when Hurricane Ivan hit in 2004. Like most people in Florida, my family was scrambling. But instead of waiting on the sidelines, I went to work with my dad. We spent months pulling tarps off roofs, meeting families who'd lost everything, and rebuilding. That's when something clicked. I realized that our work wasn't just about fixing shingles and flashing. It was about showing up for people when they needed it most.

After those hurricanes passed, I made the decision to work full-time with my father. Over the last 20 years as president, I've held to what he started: family-owned, quality-focused, and committed to doing this right. Now, in our 36th year in business, that foundation hasn't changed. What has changed is how much we've learned about what clients actually need.
