Thomas H. Ringler, the founder of Advantage Roofing, began his construction career in South Dakota at Northern State University, where he studied architecture. At the age of 27, he became a general contractor, utilizing his education and experience to start his own business. In 1989, after vacationing in Florida several times, Tom and his wife Fran decided to move to Orlando.

In 1989, Tom established Advantage Roofing, Inc. as a full-service and state-certified roofing contractor. Advantage Roofing became a member of the Better Business Bureau in 1994, and has since maintained a reputation for quality craftsmanship and the distinction of a member in good standing. Advantage Roofing has also has a outstanding reputation on the largest growing service website Angie’s List with an A+ Rating and 300+ reviews. Advantage Roofing has been awarded with Angie’s List Super Service Award every year since 2007 which is an incredible achievement!

His daughter, Anne Sue Maybin, graduated from Rollins College with marketing degree and now holds a State Certified Roofing License. She serves the company alongside her brother, Thomas H. Ringler II, a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in business, and her husband, Neal Maybin, who graduated from Tampa University and played with the Braves for two years before an injury ended his baseball career. Neal has joined the Advantage team in a management position.

Mr. Ringler wouldn’t be able to make it through the day without Rose Smith, Office Manager and Michelle Ringler, Project Manager. Rose has over 20 years of experience in the management of Florida roofing companies.
