Our humble beginnings as a small business run by our founder taught us the importance of hard work, dedication, and building relationships. As we grew, we carried these values with us, ensuring that every roofing project reflects the commitment and expertise that have defined us from the start.
Our Founder’s Journey
After studying architecture in college, Thomas H. Ringler embarked on his construction journey in South Dakota. Armed with his education and hands-on experience, he launched his own general contractor business at the age of 27. In 1989, Thomas and his wife Fran decided to make Orlando their home after numerous Florida vacations captured their hearts. During this pivotal moment, the foundation of Advantage Roofing was laid.
Building The Business
Our “mom and pop” roofing company started strong as a full-service and state-certified roofing contractor that gained membership in the Better Business Bureau in 1994. Since then, we have built on a foundation of quality craftsmanship and stellar customer service. Since 2007, we have won the Angi Super Service award every year, and we have recently added Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorite awards.

Our Family Legacy
We have served Central Florida for over 30 years and dedicate ourselves each day to ensuring the company continues to meet the highest standards of excellence and customer satisfaction. To that end, Mr. Ringler’s children now run the business, continuing their father’s legacy.
Thomas H. Ringler II graduated from Florida State University with a business degree and works alongside his sister, Anne Sue Maybin, who graduated from Rollins College with a marketing degree. Anne’s husband, Neal Maybin, is also part of the Advantage Roofing team. Fun fact: Neal played with the Atlanta Braves for two years after graduating from Tampa University.
Our dedicated staff also includes office manager Rose Smith, who has over 20 years of experience managing roofing companies, and Tom’s wife, Michelle Ringler, is a project manager. With our experienced team of hard-working employees, we look forward to continued growth and success.
